Eleven artists from the Experimental Sculpture Workshop led by Ömer Emre Yavuz at the Sculpture Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University are taking their final projects beyond the boundaries of the academy. Spanning the open spaces of Non-Sight and IMÇ, this exhibition embodies the desire to rethink and reconfigure production on an independent ground, stepping out of the school's protected environment.
The exhibition focuses on contemporary art practices such as video, ready-made objects, material fidelity, and installation, while tracing the artist's personal experience in the production process, the physical and conceptual relationships established with the space, and the act of thinking through materials. Each work transcends the boundaries of a mere final project.
